Patrick's best friend lives in the house across from us [not that far across, we share a yard]. He recently figured out that if he sits in the middle of the staircase, he can look out the window of our front door. When he hears the neighbor's car pull into her driveway, he rushes up to this spot and waits to see Hugo in the yard.
He loves his friend.
So sweet! I walk dogs part time and, when I first started, it was great to see them get in their little pre-walk-anticipation routines. There is so much we can all learn from our canine friends and I love that you have taken notice of his patience and loyalty!
