good morning.

I LOVE cold mornings! Being curled up on the couch with my coffee in hand, my kitty next to me and my laptop to keep me busy, I'm a happy girl.

Sometimes, being a blog reader is an overwhelming thing. There are SOOOOO many out there and so many of them interest me. I have a love/hate relationship with new blogs that I discover. My list is growing so much. I already have so many things that I can waste my time doing or that can distract me [crafting, etsy looking, my current list of blogs, redecorating, about 10 unfinished home projects, facebook stalking, rearranging furniture again, etc]. Those are just things I can do at home. If I leave home, the possibilities are endless, especially where we live. I have been wanting to dedicate more time to my blog and etsy creations. I have SO many ideas for things to create and sell. I just have a really hard time prioritizing my time. I mean a really hard time.

Anyway, this morning, I found some new things that I definitely wasted a lot of time looking at.

Somethings Hiding In Here is a lovely blog of a cute couple that makes things together. You should check it out along with their etsy.

Prefab getaways. *Sigh*

I would LOVE to stay at one of these one day!!! Modernist prefab dwelling in a forest? YES, PLEASE!!! Luminhaus is in the mountains of Virginia. It was designed by Rocio Romero and is available as a kit home. Another one to visit: LostRiverModern which is 2 hrs west of DC. Resolution: 4 Architecture is the firm that designed and built this lovely dwelling. It is the only one of their designs available for guests.

Lastly, but certainly not least! My husband just sold this AMAZING lamp that he designed and created:

Isn't it lovely? I have requested [or maybe demanded] that he make me a similar one but with a bit of a twist. It's going to be beautiful in our room! He will also be making that to sell in his Etsy shop. I won't tell you exactly what it is until it's done ;) I can't wait!
I am very proud of him and his creations. I LOVE being married to someone who can make things like this so that I don't have to wish I had a bank account loaded with Anthropologie money. Although, that still wouldn't suck.

  1. Yes, Somethings Hiding In Here is awesome. I have been following them for a couple years, Stephen just blows me away. I just don't expect those kinds of things to come from a man. That cake he made... so creative. I wish! Are you planning to go to Renegade LA this year (in July)?? I went last year and it was more than worth it. This year will be their second time around in LA, and I am sure it will be even better than last year! xo
