What if part of your job was traveling to Paris with your spouse to follow around an amazing band like The Civil Wars [spontaneous performance on a bridge included]? Well, that's exactly what Tec and Chelsea Petaja did. I LOVE The Civil Wars and am hoping to see them this June at Anthology. Here's a cute 8mm video that they made on their trip. Winter Colours

I've decided to participate in Poppytalk's Winter Colours Week for the rest of the week...[maybe I'll play catch up from yesterday and today too]. I'll post those photos tomorrow for you.

I had a crazy long day of non-stop cleaning at work today. I'm exhausted and ready for some relaxing. Also, we had more amazing weather today. It's making me so excited for summertime. I am so grateful for our wonderful weather we're spoiled with in San Diego. We couldn't ask for anything better.

Most of my favorite blogs are visually stimulating. If they post a lot of pretty, inspiring, or intriguing pictures, I'll keep visiting. Here's a few that always seem to get me:

Things Organized Neatly posts pictures of collections or like objects. When I was younger, I used to collect all of my green belongings (my favorite color back then, so there was a lot), arrange them ever so neatly, and snap away.

What Katie Ate will make you drool. She posts the most beautiful photos of her recipes. I'm always very impressed. Everything looks absolutely delicious!

Amy Borrell is a designer + illustrator who posts All The Mountains. You can always find someone/ something new here.

Christmas photos

Need family photos for this holiday season? You should really hire a professional. We all know you're not that great with the camera. Why not hire someone who takes pictures like this?

Fresh.

Like I've said before, I've been a little bored with photography. I feel like it's all looking the same ( well, as long as we're talking about wedding photography). So when i see a talented photographer with a great eye and editing skills, I'm very happy. Luckily, I personally know someone who fits into that category :) He's marrying one of my best friends and he's awesome! Everytime i see new pictures that he's taken, I'm blown away! Today was one of those days.

Nathan and Summer headed down our way last night to hang out. It was lots if fun! We went to the zoo and then had dinner at chipotle (Margarita Mondays! ). Everyone had a camera (except me of course) and were taking pictures left and right. Nathan posted some of his pictures on his blog today and they made me soooooo happy!!! They look so beautiful! See for yourself :)

Lately, I've been skipping blog posts about photography. It takes a lot for a picture to wow me. I feel like a lot of photographers have the same style. That's ok because everyone wants the same "vintage style" pictures. One click in photo shop and - you've got it!

So when I found Max's photography I was very pleased. His work is just pure magic! He was recently married and their oh-so-cute wedding was featured on OnceWed (it took 5 posts!), 100LayerCake, TheFlashDance and Our Labor of Love. Margaux looked stunning and their video of the ceremony is something you should definitely watch. You should check out Mark's blog for more of his work.
